Why a project is necessary

Before releasing wikis and white books it is important to create a critical mass of information in them. This facilitates a lot the introduction of these new tools especially in the case of an audience not used to structured knowledge handling initiatives. During the project, the tools will be established and set to be used effectively. People will be trained to manage those tools and most importantly they will get familiar with the knowledge handling process to be able to spread their knowledge later on.




How and what

We run the project according to your style: agile or waterfall, but in the end, the result will be the same:

  • One knowledge handling process is established and it will be used to harmonize all the knowledge management initiatives.
  • Roles will be assigned at the three levels (strategic, tactical, and operational).
  • Knowledge handling tools will be installed and ready to use.
  • A critical mass of knowledge articles will exist in every installed tool.




Project duration

The project can have different durations according to the scope, but in general, it can run for 6-12 months.




Who is involved

The members of the project team should be highly motivated. The team will be active in content creation when the new process will be established. Additionally, they will act as knowledge facilitators fostering knowledge sharing initiatives around the organization after the implementation project is completed.
